Court Mandated DUI First Offender Program
Service Description
The AB-541 Program is a 3-month first-offender driving-under-the-influence program aimed towards the education of those persons subjected to court discipline for alcohol related violations of the California Vehicle Code, to reduce recidivism and to demonstrate the benefit of a life of sobriety. The Participant needs to do the following steps to enroll, participate and complete the program: - Enrollment. —Participants need to call this office (818 716 0188) to schedule an appointment for enrollment, the enrollment takes about one hour. During the enrollment the participant will be given a schedule to attend all program activities. Participant needs to bring the paperwork from Court, DMV or other referring agency indicating he/she needs to attend the program. Arrangements for payment of program fee will be done at this time. - NOTE, You must enroll within 21 days from your last day in court. (If participants do NOT enroll WITHIN 21 days, they must then return to court, and ask for an extension) - NOTE, Participants may enroll as (Administrative PER SE) in seeking to complete appointment for enrollment, the enrollment takes about one hour. During the enrollment the participant will be given a schedule to attend all program activities. Participant needs to bring the paper work from Court, DMV or other referring agency indicating he/she needs to attend the program. To fulfill this requirement, participants must bring with them; Pink licensed issued by law enforcement at time of arrest or DMV record also known as (H6) - Program Participation—Participant needs to complete the five components described below.
